What wall is this that involve and enclose the viewer in an unfamiliar landscape? Can his eyes follow all of the details? Where does it end, where does it begin? Why is it that this interior space so loudly clamours for the exterior? We feel the tension of the limits the moment we gaze at the horizon: the space does not end, for we know that there in the background, on that wall, which our gaze imposes onto nature, there is continuity, something that is behind it; yet this wall, whose contours are defined at the limits of our visual field, represents a stopping point, a simulation of an ending, the uselessness of a definition unhinged by the liberal speculation of what takes place on the other side.The wall that hangs a small round image
