About The Artwork
Cape Cornwall in the far west of Cornwall is an inspiring location with rugged coastline, Atlantic Ocean pounding the rocks, remnants of mining, and huge ever changing skies. The Brisons, two rugged islands just off the coats add to the drama. Hopefully the painting conveys these aspects in an expressive way, reflecting my feelings at that time. Acrylic is a no fuss medium for plain air painting and allows for rapid painting and mark making.
