About The Artwork
Munchen, 1923-1972. On these two panels are three scene's depicted The left one is a photographer with all his camera's as weapons hanging on him. The right panel depicts on the left side the Israeli sports team at the 1972 Olympics in Munchen. The right side depicts the beerhall in which Hitler and his NSDAP declared a putch, which failed. Twice Munchen was the stage for world changing events and both times photographers stood by and watched, recording this history in the making.
