About The Artwork
This unique artwork was created using one of the oldest painting techniques of the world: Encaustic. Molten beeswax, damar resin and pigments are applied on a wooden cradeled board and treated with fire. The resulting piece has a surprisingly textured and shiny surface. It reminds of a blue sky or seaside and has a calm and positive presence. It is a rare artwork as only a few artists know, how to use this ancient method. It comes with a wooden floater frame, a Certificate of Authenticity and is ready to hang.
