Charles Bronson Painting

Charles Bronson be Steve McQueen. I’ve been getting frustrated trying to figure out an image or technique that I like enough to try to keep replicating. I don’t know shit about art, but I feel like if you paint a dog taking a steaming dump, that might not sell for much, if sold at all. But if you do 100 paintings of different dogs taking steaming dumps and put a big price tag on them, then they would sell like hot cakes. Because if any of your friends walk into your house and see that painting, they would know immediately who did it and how much it cost. Oh you have a steaming dog shit painting!! Wow those go for a lot, you must be important. . . So that’s my frustration. How do I make all my paintings looks similar to one another, yet do something different and unique...so I scraped what the second panel was going to be in this painting and decided to just paint the exact same thing again. That way it’s a win win. I get to paint whatever I want. And the buyer gets to repetition they want. . I don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m a dumb dumb. I definitely don’t think I’ll ever be a successful good artist, so I need to find out how to be a successful mediocre artist. .
