I was traveling in Chartres in France. I admired the alleys and the road stones, admired the old bridges and the flowing water. The houses that surrounded me seemed to me blocked. I do not know anything about the people who live in them. I did not even see them or their hanging laundry. But I did see the plants they were growing out of the houses and the water that reflected what was around them. I felt comfortable out there with the water and the reflection and did not want to go into the others' houses I felt very inside in the public space ... original acrylic painting
