About The Artwork

I painted this when I was reading Robert Greene's books on War & Power. My one sentence summary of both: the fastest way to win a war is to pretend you don't know there is one taking place, then act surprised when you "accidentally" win. I wanted to create a simple and subtle painting to reflect this principle. So here we have the red and purple team competing for the red ball. The red team believes that it has won, as the purple team appears to be retreating or fading away. But the purple team has in fact, found a loop hole through which it enters to snatch the ball while the red team is busy prematurely celebrating a victory that they will never taste.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

25-100% of all proceeds from the sale of each painting go to a charity mutually agreed upon by Adi & the buyer. As the daughter of an architect, I started drawing at a young age. I did not take my first formal art course until 2008 when I enrolled in a semester-long, life-drawing course at Excelsia in Sydney, Australia. After this course I began to draw frequently with friends, throughout the rest of my college years. But I did not take another formal course until 2012. Friends insisted that I join their group class at Studio d’Arte Rosalba Pedrina in Vicenza, Italy. I attended weekly classes in Vicenza until the week I found more than 180 love letters & nude photos exchanged between my (then) husband and his mistress. After this tragic event upended everything, I took a break from painting and drawing until 2017. After an MBA, divorce, re-marriage & many other highs and lows, I returned to my love of art in 2017. A dear friend requested one of my paintings for his 30th birthday. This commission broke the spell and I have been painting regularly since. If you follow my instagram you'll see before & after photos of many of my creations. Some works are sold minutes after they're posted to my instagram account.
