Every Indian kid probably has sparrows as their first bird friends. Cheeu tai is commonly heard in almost all Marathi homes.These paintings are special to me as they bring back the memories of my son when he was around 1 yr old or so. He used to eat his food in the company of these sweet birds joining us on the balcony railing!
