About The Artwork
I was inspired to create this painting during Black History Month coupled with reflecting on how black families are surviving this pandemic. Children are usually the most vulnerable and I want to focus on reminding everyone that children deserve their love more than anything. I have used fabric and synthetic braids to crate this piece. Friends on social media sent me quotes they wish to see included in the background. It has been quite an interactive piece to create.
