About The Artwork

This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me.The artwork consists of three paintings of 23.6x19.7in. each, which are presented earlier. The viewing (with children of 7 and 10 years old - they liked the film) of the movie " City Lights" with Charlie Chaplin encouraged me to paint a series of abstract expressive cityscapes. This paintings are also part of a series called “Gray Payne” (W. Payne invented the paint of this color around 1704). The simple and minimalist gray background successfully contrasts with the multi-colored lights of the big city. I tried to catch the feeling of the night city in this picture, it seems to work out. This paintings engages the viewer quickly and generates lots of thoughts. This artwork will fit perfectly into any modern interior. It is decorated in a simple handmade wooden frame (25.6x21.6x0.6inc.) in gray-black color, which is suitable for any interior. The paintings are finished with a UV mat varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. Ready to hang. Paintings are signed on the front (BAT) and back (full information). All artworks have got authoring Certificate of authenticity. Please note that artworks in the living are somewhat different from the images on the monitors. Thank you for viewing. The international buyer is responsible for any additional customs duty charges, if applicable.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I have always regarded myself as an experimenter. Each day I learn and explore something new that I test, develop and apply. I use oil-painting, acrylic and watercolour, aiming to use each technique for what they respectively allow to achieve artistically. I never know what I will paint in detail, how the finished artwork will look, my hands just do it. When artwork is in the final stages, I normally stand back and look; and I will spend more time looking at it than painting as I try to assess colour balance and overall feel.
