Collaged Metaphysic VIII Painting

Interest in art has always urged me to study and learn more about it since childhood. Born in a family without any art background, I did not get any proper initial grooming. My journey of art began with influences and inspirations from Sir J. J. School of art. Here I was exposed to the limitless horizon of the art world. The structure and the environment of J.J. has helped me decide a right path for my process of painting. Before coming to J. J. I had a very different perspective of art. But the reality is exactly the opposite. During my academic years I’ve realized that art is not just a package of 4 years; in fact, art is a journey of constantly discovering yourself and reinventing your ideas throughout your life. Working in the field of art these years, has given me immense pleasure which I would have seldom received from any other field. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me. During my academic years, landscaping painting was my area of interest. I receive a great joy and satisfaction in painting landscapes. Nature is the supreme power. It gives me a kind of magical energy which empowers me to paint the astonishing nature in my vision. The realization of this intense energy makes me passionate towards my work. In a place like Mumbai, I come across people with different personalities frequently changing their expressions. This forms a complex picture on my mind which results into a collective expression. This is the ideology behind my painting…result of a daily process. Life is simple but seems to be very complex. As we simplify our life, the laws of universe will be much simpler. Same is with painting. Working with suppleness and ease gives me pleasure. There is a no must in art; art is free. Painting gives me a lot of experiences and I learn a lot from them. The world of reality has its limits but the world of imagination is boundless. Imagination of the artist and that of the viewer makes a painting beautiful. A painting is a mirror to the artists mind and that to the viewers’ ideas. I am incessantly trying to improvise on what has already been achieved have a high aim of reaching global art scene. Also I’m determinedly struggling to touch the limitless horizon of divine creativity. RAMAN ADONE
