About The Artwork

This painting was made in 2016. Oil on canvas, dimensions 150 cm x 80 cm. For more than a decade this art expression intrigued me. My painting places the priority on the research of forms and colors and on their mutual cooperation. Great textures of color and very free moves visually point out the artist's handwriting. The choice of colors and forms comes from the immediate surroundings, since the place of residence is on the Mediterranean. Something that is most appealing to me in this art expression is absolute freedom of interpretation of the outside world exclusively by color and form, without descriptive content. Choosing strong color contrasts and their collaboration is a key item that needs to create a strong visual impact. The chosen forms create interpersonal relationships as if the characters on the stage and play their part. The goal is to capture the image of visual impressions with a strong emotion that keeps you constantly looking at the picture losing the thoughts in it.
