About The Artwork
I painted this is 2015 when I came out to my mother. It symbolizes my journey of self acceptance and living "out" to my friends for many years but only coming out to family as an adult. She called it, "gory" and completely misunderstood it. This piece means a lot to me but it's time to let it go.
