This is a painting belonging to my "Pentimentos" series, where I start by drawing bodies, then painting a landscape above the drawing, and finally on the drawing and landscape a portrait. All unfinished, since none of the paintings covers the canvas completely, allowing another painting to be appreciated and together they form a more important one, with varieties of reading. I was inspired to make an exhibition with the photographer Gustavo Tainhober, the material used in the portraits is from his photos. In this work there is an aspect of a united painting that brings different readings and stories from different paintings.

Uruguay
José Aguirre was born on June 19, 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Was a disciple of Pepe Montes who in turn was a disciple of Torres García, the creator of Constructive Universalism, today is considered a great exponent of this current. Constructivism proposes a harmonic system to add symbols that dictate a universal language. His search uses this method and integrates it into the language of naturalism while naturalism merges with constructive abstraction. The expected effect is that the viewer sees a colorful picture with color currents coordinated and as you approach discover a different work with ranges of color and more naturalistic. Oil is the material of your choice since it considers it very rich and allows you to continue developing the painting for a long time. His works are in private collections in Uruguay, Argentina, Germany, the United States and Japan
