The original painting is in my personal collection and is not for sale. "Confined Aquifer "--A sizable but restful piece celebrating the underground waterways that provide hydration to the rural populace. Now that we are stationed in the Great Lakes, fresh water is inherently on my mind as I drive along M-22 each day. It’s beautiful. After I got started on this piece, it began to resemble networks of what looked like creek beds, rivers, and small lakes, but perhaps those layered deep beneath the rock that often go unnoticed unless we’re in a drought. This piece was created over a period of weeks in January 2021. It has more than ten layers of washes, thick application, and serene blending of my favorite soothing hues. A wonderful and commanding addition to any room. Giclee #1/50 is sold. This listing is for #2/50.
