Convergence 1 Painting

Convergence (1) is one of ten 3ft high x 6ft wide (92 x 184cm) abstract panels produced for the Bede Metro Station Artwork Project in Jarrow for Nexus and DB Regio Tyne and Wear. Copies of the artworks will be exhibited at Bede metro rail station for two years until around October 2016. The work has been applied by brush with household emulsion on medium-density fibreboard (MDF) with visible signs of brushed application to the MDF board. This very bright and colourful abstract painting is one of a series of ten artworks, of which five were painted directly onto MDF, and five were digitally produced using scans of artworks from the studio.
