About The Artwork
This is one of my favorites from my latest obsession with painting tchotchkes. It is a small gem of a painting with thickly painted application on a small ground (especially for me, a muralist!) that fragments when studied closely but comes together with distance. I was enamored and fascinated with the scene: this little gnome is apparently having a conversation with a frog holding a guitar on a mushroom with a tiny rabbit sitting next to them.
