Dyptich from the “Art pour Argent” series representing a Bitcoin. Head and Tail. The head has a crown, a symbol for money as a king. In moments of economic struggles i start thinking in fabrics money, make my own currency. So with my paintings I exchange money for money, i mean Art for Money. Peer to peer.

Andrea Plaza Carrasco aka Anplac is a ceramist, painter, fashion designer and entrepreneur based in France. She was born in Buenos Aires on August 6, 1976, to Chilean parents. Anplac, a multifaceted artist, began her artistic journey with ceramics, deeply influenced by pre-Hispanic styles in Chile and Argentina. She draws inspiration from primitive, raw, and naive art, evident in her unique utilitarian sculptures using sandstone and raku techniques. Her artistic evolution led her to mural painting in Valparaiso during her Fine Arts studies, which later transitioned to large-scale works on recycled fabrics in her studio, reflecting her deep connection with nature and its preservation. In 2010, Anplac co-founded "La Coliflor," an independent fashion brand known for its original, hand-made, and hand-painted clothing, emphasizing nature and environmental protection. Her entrepreneurial spirit further manifested in co-creating two start-ups in Chile and Portugal, focusing on infusing creativity and marketing into local businesses. Her distinctive painting style involves layering textures with acrylics on unique canvases made from reclaimed materials like bed sheets and tea towels. This innovative technique creates surprising and rich backgrounds, linking her artworks in a continuous artistic narrative. Anplac's paintings delve into themes of economy, emotions, and the virtual world, influenced by her dual Chilean and French heritage. She uses her art to provoke thought on daily economic interactions and decisions, incorporating symbols like Bitcoin to question the value and illusion of material wealth.
