About The Artwork
This image is from my New York Collection. I lived in NYC for most of the 1980's. The city is indelibly etched in my memory - the angular rhythm of the buildings, the subway, the hurried people. This image is hurried just like crosswalks in the big city are. I like working with water based paints because they dry fast and so I can work fast. This piece is on Arches acid free art board, this board can stand up to a lot of artistic activity.
