From the age of 11 she received an artistic education in her hometown Art highschool and later at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca where she recieved a grant for 5 months at the University of Fine Arts in Cuenca, Spain. Lidia paints mostly from imagination or memory. Her work describes the inner voice of the subconscious mind, inspired by the beauty of imaginary things, the mystery of nature and social experiences. She has a positive and colorful vision. Lidia especially admires David Hockney, in elements such as his smooth flat and brilliant color. Marc Chagall for his quirky motifs, Olafur Eliasson for sculptures and large-scale installations that enhance the viewer's experience.
