About The Artwork
My first self-portrait. I wanted this painting to be a true and accurate representation of my life currently. By day I run a very successful recruitment business. By night I paint. Most days I do too much of both with little regard for the clock. Each morning I pry my eyes open and do it all again. This painting shows me putting toothpaste on a razor blade. This actually happened. I think this sums up my life very well at this point. My life as an 'emerging' artist.
