Growing up in the shadow of NYC, on the New Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge, I had plenty of access to arts and culture. My favorites were the museums, MoMA and the Guggenheim in particular. I studied both Art Education and Elementary Ed. I found my own forte as educator to be wise to build self esteem in students through positive praise, both in the classroom and the art room. Producing creativity has value for society itself. As retiree, I delight myself in the pleasures of experimenting in the ways which I would suggest to my art students. therefore, I am self taught. My favorites are collage and large scale acrylic compositions. The vagaries of life have tossed me many incomprehensible tragedies. I cope through my art. I find peace as I immerse myself in color. I neither judge, nor, project politically through art, preferring to pursue happiness as our forefathers provide in our USA pledge of allegiance. I espouse and hopefully evoke, happiness in my own artworks.
