Dachshund Blue Reversable Painting

All my life I have owned a Dachshund, what inspired me to paint this portrait are all the dachshunds in my life that I have ever loved, and that have loved me. I wanted to create some thing that other people could look at and feel happiness, and feel love, the blue bricks symbolize depression and unhappiness but when you see the Dachshund, it’s supposed to make you feel happy. Animals give unconditional love and I wanted to portray in my painting unconditional love over top of all the depression and the blues the people feel on a daily basis. There’s that old saying that no matter how hard and how bad my day is whenever I come home it’s the love that my animals give me that make me feel like it was all worth it! This is a rare reversible dachshund painting, that will allow you based on your mood to pick which side of the painting you feel like looking at at the time.
