About The Artwork
I painted this last year in 2019 and got the idea from a photograph of two whales 'dancing' together. I was amazed that these enormous creatures could move in such an elegant and beautiful way. I used acrylics as this is my preferred medium and I think the bright colours blended well to form the bodies of the whales and the surrounding sea. This piece has been printed in the SAA magazine.
