From the (Dis)Connection series. In this series I am exploring the concept of connection. This can be the connection between individuals, the bond people have with their surroundings, the impact on connectivity through technology and social media, the (dis)connection between past and present etc.. The idea for this painting emerged after reading the famous book 'Dangerous Liaisons' by Choderlos de Laclos. Relationships have the power to unite us, yet at times, they can also limit our growth, making us feel trapped. Stretched on a sturdy wooden frame and ready to hang.
