With a studio practice based in Auckland, I received my Masters in Fine Arts from Elam School of Fine Arts in 2012, having originally studied at Camberwell within the University of the Arts London for my BFA Honours in Painting. My work involves the use of building-trade materials and paints where what is important is how paint activates a surface through the very construction of it. The stuff of matter is fused to a kind of thinking: to idea as action.
