Another re-painted picture. I do it when I don't like the original one anymore. This painting, like the other two, I painted in sadness and anger. But there is perhaps hope in this one - in the darkness I tried to express space. This allows you to shift, travel, overlap. Remote inspiration was M. Rothko and the chiaroscuro technique. It's the second oil paint painting. I don't understand why I used them before./Přemalovaný obraz. Dělám to, když se mi původní už nelíbí. Tento obraz, stejně jako další dva jsem maloval ve smutku a hněvu. Ale v obrazu je snad i naděje - v temnotě jsem se snažil vyjádřit prostor. Ten umožňuje posun, cestu, přesah. Vzdálenou inspirací mi byl M. Rothko a technika šerosvitu. Je to druhý obraz malovaný olejovými barvami. Nechápu, proč jsem je nazačal používat už dříve.

I love painting and drawing. Started as an autodidact I drew things and people around me and - due to my university studies of botany - flowers and trees. After university studies I was attending evening classes of drawing, painting and sculpturing in one art school in Brno. An important step towards my own independent work was the acquisition of a studio in the former Vlněna factory in Brno. My work has undergone many phases in the last few years and I still cannot say that it has settled in a style. The reason behind this is that I try to submit the form to momentary feelings, attitudes and perceptions of the external world as well as of my own internal one. As a matter of fact, I do not even want to stay in a little box of a style since I enjoy finding new expressions for my artistic work. In 2017 I co-founded KVARK atelier dusetvorby z.s. - an NGO which helps artists with mental illness.
