About The Artwork
This painting is about light piercing through a dark patch of the river. Vivid colours can be seen through the surface of the water. I used golden fluids acrylic. These are very highly pigmented inks and can be used either as impasto or like a wash on top of a layer. The support is a strong primed linen canvas on professional wooden stretchers.
