Daughter of the Earth Painting

Kathrin Hufen is a figurative painter born in Marl / Germany. Because of her early interest in portraits, landscapes and still life she experienced the techniques of the old masters, before she received her formal academic training at the Folkwang-University of Arts in Essen. Her artistic path has always been characterized by figurative painting and drawing, which also points in a narrative direction.
