About The Artwork

The magic of the desert. The desert appears to us at first glance as an abandoned place, ruined buildings of ancient civilizations that no longer exist, but the desert is not abandoned, it is full of life. During one of my visits to a desert area in the south of the country, I had the privilege of seeing a wild goat climbing a hill. The style in the painting is a combination of impressionism and expressiveness in paint application. The dominant colors are the golden browns that stand out against the blue background of the sky and the shadow areas.

A contemporary painter whose work focuses on colors, light and landscapes. Influenced by the impressionist current and the expressive line." I get my inspiration from nature and due to my love for colors I choose bright colors. I paint with oil colors on canvas, and with watercolor colors on high-quality paper. I signed some of my works with the name Linoy and some with the name Karmit. Because at a certain time in my life I adopted the name Linoy and now I have returned to my original name Karmit.
