I haven't sought out to emulate any particular style but I notice I seem most aligned with Impressionism, Post-impressionism, Expressionism and Abstraction. As a philosopher, I often paint as a way to explore ideas about life and personal significances that linger about in my mind. My interest is in creating art that accomplishes some level of aesthetic but also to convey concepts which have importance to me and which hopefully elicit a personal contribution of meaning from the viewer. I paint whatever I paint and I try not to worry about it; sometimes, I paint something that I like.”
