Divine Tribal Origins Painting

I was born and lived most of my life in Yorkshire but now reside in Somerset near Glastonbury. Since I was a child I have always been very interested in art and studied it throughout my education in both traditional and digital forms. It was only in recent years my creativity came more online as I experienced a lot of internal shifts and felt a new more aligned self come through. The main influence on my art is a passion for living my truth while living in harmony with nature. I see and feel beauty in the world at a deep level and like to capture that in my artworks- showing others the beautiful possibilities in this world. For me doing art can feels like creating portals into better worlds where we are more embodied with our truths and divinity. I would describe myself as someone who can communicate energy through art… energy that can feel super charged. Coming from my own source my artworks are brought into fruition when I see something, whether in physical reality or in a vision, that brings feelings of familiarity or a connection that plants seeds. Being based in the spiritual heart of Somerset my rural surroundings are a daily inspiration, often blending with the influence of ancient cultures and spiritual pathways I’ve encountered from around the world. My artworks can also be an expression of something we have forgotten whilst also connecting in with the new energies now available on this planet. For me it is about getting back to our deep profound interconnection with nature and the rest of the universe.
