Diving Colors Painting

Statement obra peces I paint what surrounds me. I paint the natural world. I work with mixed techniques such as inks, acrylics of fluid consistency and gold leaf. Water techniques allow spontaneity and chance, channel the stain and lose control at the same time. My creative process arises from an unplanned image or idea. I flip the colors on the canvas spontaneously and intuitively. I never know how the dialogue with the canvas will end. The composition builds itself, articulating through each brushstroke. My work is wrapped around itself, it embraces itself. Fish gravitate out of the water in an intimate and solitary dance. Empty and full spaces appear. All elements are intertwined intuitively in the work and are an expression of a search for meaning.
