About The Artwork
Tried to do a project along the lines of a theme called "food for thought". An artist of influence, Yuko Shimizu, portrayed innocence in one of illustrations. Therefore I thought it would be interesting to see how my dog, a puppy at the time, would react with different food types. In this piece, the egg is supposed to symbolise the purity, innocence before life and rebirth, as it's fragile and unhatched. The puppy represents curiosity.
