The culture of violence is one in which the violent response to conflict is seen as natural. The contemplation of violence can be understood as an exercise in voluntary alienation, which makes us forget who we are. In the first place, because the pain and destruction of others always reaffirm one's integrity, one's own life, treasured inopportunely when someone else is suffering or dying. But by becoming a show I consider that it is better suited to a quote from Voltaire: "Power consists in making others act as I decide", because you become a consumer sheltered in a chair behind a ring, behind a cage, even behind of a digital screen. And those directly involved in the "show" acquire an object form, created for entertainment with a promise of glory, sometimes economic, sometimes fame, legal or illegal encounters, well viewed or repudiated. But at the climax of any encounter, they are no more appreciated than a piece of meat, at the mercy of the diner. These works have been exhibited at: 2020 Creation in Movement of Young Creators 2019-2020, Centro de la imagen, CDMX. 2021 State painting contest - Federico Ramos Sánchez Prize, CREA, Irapuato. Gto. 2022 State painting contest - Salvador Almaraz Museum, Irapuato. Gto.
