In every generation, an evil person rises up against us. Who knows when? or where? We can't ignore it because we need to speak out against evil. In this mixed media painting, the 4th figure represents faceless EVIL. There are several levels of symbolism here. First of all, the big red "X" means just don't BE evil and don't allow evil to exist. There's also a Jewish historical context here...that in every generation "Amalek" will appear in different forms and guises, always with the common hatred of Jews and Judaism with an objective to crush the faith of the people. So this figure wears the three corner hat of Haman from the Purim story, the priestly robes of the Spanish Grand Inquisitor Torquemada, the brown shirt of Hitler, and the boots of the Russian Cossacks. To those who are spreading the evil, tell them to heed this advice: don't watch videos and shows that are spreading evil lies; don't listen to people who spread these same lies; and definitely don't spread this evil yourself.
