About The Artwork
I took a photo of this amazingly twisted bit of deadwood on a beach on the Isle of Wight. That day it was over cast and gray. So it was not a conscious decision but as I started painting I just flowed with the colours I had left over from another painting. Hence the complete opposite of my photo. Even a dead, part of a tree can still be a beautiful thing! Hope you enjoy looking.
