About The Artwork

Drishti is the yogic practice of focused gaze, used as a means of developing concentration. It can help to enhance focus during asana, pranayama or meditation, and aids in the withdrawal of the senses for a heightened sense of self-awareness. The term drishti is Sanskrit for “eyesight” or “vision,” and the practice is believed to help cultivate insight and inner wisdom through the third eye. The deep blue "enso' circle is a Japanese Zen symbol representing the circle of life, the endless spirit. Bold metallic gold provides a strong focal point in the tranquility of the serene background. This 30" x 48" original painting on is shipped rolled, and includes a generous additional painted border, for stretching with a gallery wrap edge. Total canvas measurement is approximately 36" x 54". Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. Total painted area is approximately 34" x 52".
