About The Artwork
Acrylic paint on wood. It represents an image of man-insect, a drone. Quite figurative, but at the same time abstract, with decorative elements in soft and delicate colors. Like almost all of Mara's works, this one also has a touch of irony, both in the image and in the title of the work. Mara often plays with words. The frame of the painting forms an inseparable part of the work and is the frame of an old wooden window, painted bluish gray in different shades.
