This painting was based off a photo I captured at the end of an afternoon of fishing with a friend. We were not having much luck and the sun began to set I started watching the bugs dance across the water. At certain point the sunset was quite beautiful, and bugs were more energetic, so I felt I needed to capture the moment, and later decided it would be a wonderful subject for a painting.
