About The Artwork
The landscape is fragmented and shaped by a variety of influences and changes. This depiction focuses on the fundamental elements of nature, with various shades of green, dark blue, and wine red forming a harmonious unity across the vast fields. Trees in rich shades of green, some bathed in sunlight, extend along the horizon. The sky presents a dynamic scene, with clouds dancing in shades of red and blue. A forthcoming change of seasons is on the horizon, and the weather is constantly in flux. This is evident especially in the movements in the sky, which bring the landscape to life through colors, light, and shadows. In this painting, areas were painted with soft pastels and then fixed with fixative. The signature and date are on the back. This painting is not framed.

In my artistic works, I merge minimalism with abstraction by focusing on the essential elements of nature. I explore the transformation of landscapes, play with forms, lines, and colors, reflecting both the subtle beauty of nature and the intervention, division, and transformation of landscapes. Through the reduction to the essential, I invite the observer to contemplate the harmony or disharmony between humans and nature. I began my artistic journey at the renowned Bauhaus-University in Weimar, delving into interdisciplinary projects of visual arts and participating in various exhibitions. Subsequently, during my two-year studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, I took part in two group exhibitions curated for the Hamburg Senate and DGB. I completed my studies in Weimar in 2001. Since 2015, I have been dedicated to art professionally. I started in Berlin, being part of an artist community, and currently, I work in my own small studio in Barcelona.
