What inspired this archival canvas painting was the book, 'Entering the Mind,' by C. Von Hassett, an LA based author, who has spent over a decade practing Tibetan Dzogchen Meditation. This form of meditation takes the practioner into, "the ideal state of mind; a bliss state of restful consciousness." I want the viewer to be transferred, if even in an ever so slight way, to this mindset - a mindset of restful relaxation and luminous bliss. Ready to hang in an intimate space.
