About The Artwork
Certain concepts always bring on behaviors worthy of a trip to the principal's office. I love to bring about nostalgia in my paintings, and this one is all about those awkward middle school years. That feeling of being mortified, and not knowing how to react to the embarrassment that seemed to be constant during that phase of life, is what I tried to convey here. This piece's edge is painted bright blue. Hanging hardware is installed.
