About The Artwork
Question - is she entwined in vines or chained in vines of nature? What is your perspective? The women in my art are always dark skinned and usually with curly hair as there’s very few dark skin art in this part of the world. But in this series I also wanted to portray another less painted body shape – the plus size women. As the Earth Goddess, she is blissfully entwined in vines and batik styled flowers and is at peace with herself and who she is. Like her, I hope you find the ability to love yourself and be the confident, beautiful women you all are.
