About The Artwork

The connection between two genders is a powerful bond that intertwines their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It's fascinating to explore how their individual perspectives come together, creating a unique dynamic that can either strengthen their bond or present challenges to overcome. The masculine and feminine elements represented by the spiral on the man and woman’s head create a balance and harmony between genders, connection between humans, cognition, and its environment. The bold spiral can symbolize strength, resilience, and the vibrant energy of life, while the subtle spiral represents introspection, depth, and the intricacies of our inner selves. Together, they create a harmonious portrayal of the multifaceted nature of humanity, celebrating both our boldness and our subtleties. Adding the Agbada and wrapper (traditional Nigerian attire) to the painting helps celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Nigeria. It also symbolizes the unity and pride of africa as a whole . While the white behind the bold spiral adds a captivating contrast and draws attention to that focal point, which is the strength. It also creates a sense of energy and radiance.
