About The Artwork
This work is a part of my first attempts on marbling with oil paint. Sprayed atop this worn, aged, and weathered imprint is gold aerosol paint. The process reminds me very much about the ancient book of Ecclesiastes from the Bible which speaks of all things that man told for as "vapor" and chasing after wind. All in all, this painting and it's siblings...birthed from curiosity taught me that at the end of the day it is God whom I must give glory and whose words I must heed.
