About The Artwork
One of my first works I did standing in front of a easel. This position gave me new perspectives. The work itself growed step by step. One action led to another. I often work like the traditional surrealist so that I often don't know what is the result. I struggled a bit with the acryl coulours. I added several layers to get structure and depth. A view as if you are looking deep into a forest. The longer you look the more you can discover. Light, coloured light. Feelings are transported, thoughts could be catched. A little fog tries to hide the secrets of the trees. During the painting process there where people passing by. One even left me a letter in which he expressed that he sees pain in the picture.
