About The Artwork
I painted this September 2009, after my father had a sudden death and was rushed to the hospital for reanimation. At 80 years of age and with a heavy cardiac history, his chances of survival were very slim. So during this time period, I was hoping, praying,feeling in despair , feeling so sad and lost. This is represented in my painting. It is oil on canvas 120 cm x 90 cm

I am a French oil painting artist. Both my parents are artists. My father drew theater and Opera costumes for over thirty years, and painted as a hobby, all his life. My mother makes sculptures . They both continue their art in their atelier in Normandy. I always enjoyed drawing...It was my favorite and best discipline in school.I remember feeling proud and being admired by my teachers and students.it is only much later in my life that I decided to paint full time...it is my life , my passion. I want to progress as much as possible, all my life...reach my highest potential.
