"Energy of the Red and Pink peonies" Painting

Hello! I am Olga, I am an artist. I live in Saint-Petersburg one of the most beautiful city in Russia. I’ve been painting, drawing, sculpting since my childhood. I enjoy creating beautiful things. I use different techniques like watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, also I like to experiment with textures. I mostly get inspired by nature, I enjoy walking, riding a bike in the fields, noticing how beautiful this world is. If you get up early in summer morning you can get lucky and meet herons on the river, or on your way to countryside you could see stork in the nest, or riding a bike near the lake you might notice swans. I usually memorize this kind of moments and I get pictures in my head, than latter I paint it. Of course I love flowers, one of my favorite is peonies, I love them since my childhood, my grandmother use to have peonies in her garden. I will never forget this wonderful moments, when I would come visit my grandmother for my summer holiday in June, it is time when peonies are blooming, the smell was so nice and colors, pink, white, magenta!!! For me peonies are beginning of the holiday, beginning of something new, something wonderful! I love having paintings of peonies in my room. I have been painting a lot of them trying to get it as real as I could.
