Entanglement Painting

The tile of the exhibition is inspired by the entanglement scientific concept, here having the sense of correlation, sensibilization or involvement. Entanglement is a quantic physics term involving the presence of remote correlations, theoretically with no limit, between separated systems. A so paradox theory, as it amazes event the scientist inventing it. In the heart of the matter there is an immense world, consisting in billion and billion particles, escaping our senses and intuition. A world in which the ”mysterious” laws of quantic mechanics apply, a world in which the spatially separated systems remotely interact causing paradox consequences. They can all cause a serious crisis regarding our conception on how nature works. The ecological, economic and social aspects of our current world are secondary effects, consequences of an existential background? The global transformations caused to the environment by humankind radically question the correctness of human-nature relationship. It is a fundamental question involving basic values and consequently it is a challenge not only for science, but also for art. By means of art I try to notice a subtle and interior dimension, to find what it might be a field of objective possibilities. For me, this exploration means large contour works, ascendant structures, diluted coordinates and colours which seemed to be uncontrollable. An attempt of using painting for the purpose of reaching the profound layers of existence. I try to get into that microcosmos existing inside of us and to find that intrinsic capacity which may positively change both us as well as the nature. Nevertheless, I understand that a certain level of consciousness and a certain sensibility are required, which are currently far away, because such a possibility, such a potentiality may get a shape by generating changes in nature in society. We must discover in ourselves that empathic part transcending nature and society for making a fusion and a progress beyond those two, in a free nature, where the best elements of nature and society give life to new forms of co-existence. The Humanity has the power to change the world, meaning that mostly it changes itself, because by protecting nature, it shall protect itself. The voice of science and art may be a motivating impulse for passing from passivity to receptiveness.
